8 cups water
1 lb Mexican hawthorne
2 lb sugarcane peeled and sliced
1 lb pear cored and quartered
1 lb red apple cored and cut into wedges
1 lb guava halved
1 cup piloncillo
.44 lb prunes
2 pieces cinnamon stick
¼ cup dried hibiscus flower (jamaica)
½ cup tamarind peeled
1 piece orange peel optional
2 pieces clove
Tequila as needed

Easy Directions

1. Bring water to boil in a pot. Add hawthornes, sugarcane, pears, guavas and apples. Bring to a boil again. 

2. Add piloncillo, cinnamon and prunes alongside the orange peel, cloves, hibiscus flowers and tamarind; cook for 5 more minutes and let stand.

3. Stir in tequila to taste. Serve and enjoy
